Barton 26-7-7 with great defense and +10 in 40 minutes even without their leading scorer against a strong team on the road....and they still lose cause putting MPJ in the game means a 7 point lead becomes a 7 point deficit.

You’re asking a rookie who can’t get consistent minutes from his TREAD WATER coach to come in and be a defensive stalwart. Most rookies are bad at defense. He’s clearly the most talented player on the roster, but he’s unable to get comfortable because he plays 4 minutes a night in garbage time twice a week.
