Nah Simmons and Embiid's lack of cohesion is the issue. Each one weirdly plays better without the other.

This could be resolved if Simmons would shoot the ball sometimes or attack the basket to keep the defense honest so they don't key in on Embiid.
I felt like that's been the issue for 2-3 years now but last year it was masked a bit because you could just have Butler be the closer or whatever was needed. With him gone, it feels like yall back to 2017-2018 where yall are good just as long as yall build a big enough cushion going into the 4th quarter.

Otherwise it can be de ja vu to a couple years back in the playoffs

Do you even watch breh? Or you just going off of previous years?

EC is deeper from 1-8 seed and have a winning record against the west as a whole.

2nd tier contenders like celtics, raptors, heat are better nuggets, rockets, mavs

6-8 seed like nets, pacers are better than jazz, okc and suns
Dudes just parrot narratives

The West been overrated

The fact you think Will Barton is a better basketball player than Michael Porter shows you have zero idea what you’re looking at. The fact Mike Malone and Gary Harris think they need him shows why they’ll never a real contender :mjlol:
You talk shyt every time MPJ picks up a DNP yet you so quiet when he actually gets PT, why is that?

Barton 26-7-7 with great defense and +10 in 40 minutes even without their leading scorer against a strong team on the road....and they still lose cause putting MPJ in the game means a 7 point lead becomes a 7 point deficit. :francis:

I swear the only times he doesn't look like a non-factor are when he's getting burned or missing shots.

But but but MPJ should be starting and is the best player on the Nuggets right now. :mjlol:

Give me a break with all this reaching. You’re trying to blame MPJ while conveniently ignoring top 5 player in the league (in your eyes, damn sure not mine :mjlol:) Nikola Jokic not doing a damn thing. Again.

You’re asking a rookie who can’t get consistent minutes from his TREAD WATER coach to come in and be a defensive stalwart. Most rookies are bad at defense. He’s clearly the most talented player on the roster, but he’s unable to get comfortable because he plays 4 minutes a night in garbage time twice a week.

I don't think Jokic is top 5. I just think that right now he's better than MPJ. As does everyone else with eyes and a brain. Sure did a lot more than him last night (15-7-11 on 7-12 shooting, +8 in 33 minutes and limited Embiid to 8-18 shooting), yet again.

You didn't say MPJ "could" be better with more playing time. You said he would already be the best player on the team the moment he stepped on the court. That's just one of the reasons your comment was so stupid. Had 15 minutes to prove himself last night and couldn't hit anything but a cherry-picked layin he only was in position for cause he hadnt hustled back on D.

And stop embarrassing yourself - you already admitted earlier that you didn't know what the definition of "treadwater" was.

so now. miami in the mix for iggy and love... that makes cp/beal/beal/love all rumored .. lol
NO thanks or Either. :whoa: I like our current core. Only deal i say Riley should make is if we can get Beal. And that's only if it comes at the right price AKA Butler, Adebayo and Herro are all off the table

I can’t believe Shaq hating on Bam. Name a better 2 way forward in the east right now other than Greek freak
WHat did he say?
Pascal :manny:

Bam is a center tho
Bam is 6'9" tall. 6'10 on a good day. He has always been a PF. He played C to back up Whiteside when Whiteside was being a knucklehead and we lacked size and went small. The same reason we had Justise Winslow playing PF.

And outside of Giannis, Embiid, Siakam and MAYBE Horford I dont see any other front-court players more deserving of an All-Star nod unless im forgetting someone

Edit: And before you say Blake Griffin, remember he's over there averaging 18 pts on 39% FG% on a losing team.
