Behind greats like Scott Skiles and Chauncy Billups.

I'll give him 89-2001 as the years where Reggie was the man on those teams. They got bounced out of the 1st round 6 times during that period.

Manu's signature performance was the 2004 Olympics where he carried that team to Gold.

I dont know what this means, but I never said anything like that.

What I said is that Manu's accomplished nearly as much as Reggie has in less years.

Reggie Miller- 8 points in 9 seconds - YouTube

the thing is Reggie was not highly rated by the press even when he was in his prime. Dude made only 3 All NBA teams, and they were all 3rd team.

Oh, so know that Reggie was just a complimentary player on that Olympic team you want to prop that up but dismiss Manu being the man for the Argies. :lupe:

cool. Its a huge deal.

great!

Manu has a better resume.

yes. You should do yourself a favor and look at the names in the basketball HOF. You could really learn something.

My Pops Forever RIP
@tremonthustler1 Point bein', Ginobili's not seein' Yao's resume. :skip: U wanna talk actual basketball accomplishments? Ming's done more and accomplished more than Ginobili has. There's no argument u can make for Ginobili deservin' a HOF spot more than Ming.

But that's categorically false and you proved it by basically saying Yao should be in because of what he accomplished as an ambassador to the sport. If you're just judging by what their careers were, Yao doesn't see Manu. You led off Yao's resume by intimating. "well he influenced a lot of Asians to play basketball which led to lots of $$$ and got some all-star appearances for seasons he didn't even really play." You'd have to tell me how that trumps what Manu did ON THE COURT.

Ginobli is a hall of famer because of his international career along with his NBA career.

If it was just based on his NBA career there's no way in hell Manu would make the hall of fame.

And it's funny, Spurs fans are the main ones saying Manu could be a starter in the league, but whenever Manu plays poorly those same people bring up the fact that he's not a starter specifically because he makes boneheaded plays the longer he's in the game.
