Redemption: Official 2012 Green Bay Packers Season Thread

Everything starting to really come together nicely, only place I have any major concern is with

Can't afford to leave points on the board and give the opposition good field position in the playoffs

We can take a short cut or take the path that suits this team the best. Playing in SF and ATL is the best path that suits this team. If we cant establish a run game in the cold snow/rain weather then we're through. This has nothing to do with 2007 or 2011.

I'd rather take the short cut. The run game is a lot better. The Don Barclay rookie RT is very good run blocking and he has Sitton next to him who is a Pro Bowl RG.

Besides, if we can get the #2 seed it means we're going into the post-season playing with everyone available and keeping the team in sync which didn't happen last year when they rested Rodgers and other key starters.

We really need guys like Jennings and Nelson to get back into gear and for the offense to become consistent in the passing game. Cobb and Jones have played great though

yeah, I think the time to cut him has passed though... a new kicker would need a game at Lambeau to get ready for the playoffs and this week is the last home game of the season ... we're going to have to score TDs in the postseason

Feels much better actually having something to play for ourselves as well as playing a team with their playoff hopes on the line rather than coasting for the last month of the season like last year

Our DBs were playing so today. I hope its just one bad game since they have been tremendous all year.

Really? It won't be one and done next week. I saw no reason why the Pack couldn't win at Lambeau next weekend. Vikings just played an inspired game. It happens.
