I’m tryna tell you this a copy cat league literally .. soon as a team get a dynamic paint player or 2 and start winning by rebounding and scoring in the paint teams gonna look to do the same
You're not going to win like that lol.

How many teams have won with the style I said vs the Warriors style??
Doesn't matter how teams won in a different era. The majority of past champions would not be be able to keep up with the modern playing style without making some adjustments.

Also it's not the Warriors style. You nikkas foolishly think that because teams are taking more threes they are playing the Warriors style. Warriors basketball was more complex than just shooting threes. The league was trending towards more three pointers for years before them. The increase in threes has a lot to do with beating zones and those early 2010's defensive schemes teams like the Bulls, Pacers, Heat, Celtics, etc. was running. The last non-Warriors champions (Cavs and Raptors) both shot threes but had their own style of play.

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
This is cute. Always like it when fools are open about their ignorance. Makes deciding who to engage with that much easier.

Just know that the other side of this debate isn't choosing "analytics over ball."
:hhh:

Jump on analytics dikk to make yourself feel smarter brehs

And FWIW I do analytics for a living. One of the biggest things is to never blindly trust data, which a lot of you clueless geeks love to do

It’s not a good example. The point is that teams can not duplicate the Warriors. The Warriors have literally two of the 3 or 4 best shooters of All-TIME on their team. Teams are seeing shooting as this skill that every one can just do. They can’t. You can’t shoot like Steph. You can’t shoot like Klay. Them dudes are next level. They same way everybody can’t be Shaq , or Kobe or Mike.

They also don't generate 3s like other teams. Their big man runs of the offense and both guards screen for each other. Then you got dumb teams trying to have Harrison Barnes stand in the corner and chuck 3s. Lots of morons.

TYRONE GA!
6 - 8 years ago, the league had perfect balance. You had teams who were defensive oriented, those who were built around post play, run-n-gun, and etc, which led to great matchups because each team had their own style. Now, it just comes down mostly to who hits 15+ 3s in the game because both teams shooting at least 30 of em. To most, it feels like the game is more predicated on luck and overall team talent rather than different styles winning out.
Completely agree.
