Imo.. I don't even think a lot of these rappers are even seekin any sort of return..if they did, why would they continue name droppin them? just name droppin shyt and all that so when everyone starts rockin it they can claim or others will claim they started the trend or brought it back..

A$AP Rocky's understanding of high fashion is > than most rappers. He's really dedicated to the 'street goth' fashion aesthetic of Rick Owen's designs. I doubt rappers should be expecting a check for name dropping brands. It'll be interesting to see if he encounters the same road blocks as KanYe when Rocky tries to leverage his fashion relationships. They seem to fukk with Rocky more than Ye honestly. Based on personal taste alone, I'd be more interested in copping something Rocky designed then Ye at this point honestly.

I understand Kanye been doing this a lot longer and probably feel its "deserved" but Rocky is wayyyyyyy more humble compared to Kanye and that could be a reason why hes more respected and designers like working with him and hes started to build relationships really early on. cockiness and a huge ego can be a huge turn off.. no one wants to work with someone who acts like they know more than the head honcho or someone whos career is that, when they are just gettin their feet wet

He's not... & I don't blame him at all really because he didn't ask them to. It's one thing to approach a company & do some form of a sponsorship deal but if a company can get free promotion & not have to come out the pocket they won't... these people are pretty heartless. Not saying Rick Owens is or isn't but in general business people are some of the most Soulless people in the world because they care about nothing but money no matter how much of it they have. If he can get free promotion without as so much giving them a free hat he'll do it trust me. We're talking about the same world TLC brought in over $100 million dollars & with a straight face & no regret in her heart Pebbles cut them a $60,000 check... the same world where "Avengers" grossed over a billion dollars & they still wanted Chris Hemsworth to take a pay cut...
