So just cause he makes millions, we are suppose to be ignored? I'm not singling him out but other high end brands just look at rap like it's not worth anything. And I hate when people down play the influence of rappers name dropping brands. Whenever kanye wears anything, people follow and start buying. Same thing with Jay and A$AP. Rap has influence over its audience. And the fact that these people don't seem to care about the genre is alarming given the star power that a Rick Ross or a Jay-z have.

I'm making this a race thing, I guess it's more of a respect thing. I understand these brands have been around for a long time, some for centuries. But hip hop is a billion dollar business. He's not... & I don't blame him at all really because he didn't ask them to. It's one thing to approach a company & do some form of a sponsorship deal but if a company can get free promotion & not have to come out the pocket they won't... these people are pretty heartless. Not saying Rick Owens is or isn't but in general business people are some of the most Soulless people in the world because they care about nothing but money no matter how much of it they have. If he can get free promotion without as so much giving them a free hat he'll do it trust me. We're talking about the same world TLC brought in over $100 million dollars & with a straight face & no regret in her heart Pebbles cut them a $60,000 check... the same world where "Avengers" grossed over a billion dollars & they still wanted Chris Hemsworth to take a pay cut...
