You know prominent economists like Krugman etc are talking about SA's rapid industrialization in the next 10-15 years being MORE pronounced than what occured in China? South Africa freed themselves from Apartheid 20 years ago and in 2010 hosted the World Cup... poverty goes down YEAR after YEAR after YEAR and the ANC sees a stronger challenge day by day. Not really. Blacks live in third world conditions in South Africa and own nothing, have no education and have become inclined to crime and violence out of desperation. South Africa is a lot more more dangerous than Zimbabwe.

No he's right (in fact he's right on the money). I've been to both countries as recently as August 2012. South Africa provides basic human needs Zimbabwe often does not but that's really more or less where it ends.
I felt a lot safer in Zimbabwe.
