But how much of that downfall is because of TKO leadership or initiatives? They could be not allowing him to do certain things.

Matter of fact, you know that's happening
I'm saying it's both

TKO is like any other corporation with the price gouging and excessive advertising but the actual wrestling product being significantly worse is on HHH's shoulders

That has nothing to do with anything. Everybody can wrestle these days. It's nikkas in indies in the middle of Minnesota that can flip, sell, and take bumps. The new nikkas just can't cut promos:mjlol:

Regardless wrestling ability is irrelevant to the overall point. HHH ain't teaching these nikkas how to wrestle but he is responsible for this awful booking and stories

Hell that's all I'm saying too:russ:

I just can't believe that even now nikkas still finding ways to give HHH the benefit of the doubt when he might as well be wearing a big ass I'M DOING AN AWFUL JOB sign on his forehead

Kind of surprised that TSC is finally starting to turn on Jumanji Johnson months after the fact.

His antics during the lead up to Wrestlemania 40 should clued everyone to much of an egotistical prick Dwayne has become.

Yep. Dude nearly ruined the finish of a multi year long story because of his ego. Rock vs Roman would work any other year except for WM 39 and 40.

Well the Rock involved himself. We can't possibly still be debating that right?:mjlol:

I get he involved himself in WM40 last year but I thought he was called for this year.
I do see that people are saying Ari called the Rock, which makes sense too.
I just figured it was Triple H who called

See. Here y'all go.

So you mean in the course of a 7 day week, Rock doesn't have 5 min to film a "via satellite" promo?

Nobody in the world is that busy.

way I see it, The Rock's a billionaire and wrestling needs him a lot more than he needs it, so him even doing anything with that side of the world is a charity. there's no amount they can pay him for it to genuinely mean anything to him.

he showed up, dabbled, had a lil fun.. but ultimately what he wants to be doing is acting, and that's what he's going to dedicate his craft to 100%. he knows wrestling will always be there and fans will erupt the second his music hits no matter what..

I think landing these dramatic roles which includes one that required him to lose a shyt ton of muscle mass and weight, pretty much took priority over any training that it would have taken to get into ring shape. he made that his obligation. while I personally would have loved to see him actually come back and wrestle, he clearly had other shyt going. I cant be mad at that lol.. the show goes on with or without him. sucks cena had to be a casualty but its not the end of the world.

Yea Ari called Rock but this is still on the back of Rock interrupting the Roman/Cody story because he essentially ran himself out of Hollywood

The Ari call was for 41, the Rock tried to hijack 40

Don't the producers play more of a factor in the match structure than the booker?
Yes but I see if the wrestlers have a banger match produced well it means nothing if the story around it is nonexistent

That’s the problem I have with the other place you can’t have good matches for the sake of having a good match if there’s no reason to stick around to what’s going to play out then what’s the point

That’s the problem

It would stupid to fire HHH. He's proven himself when booking for NXT and after Vince left that he knows what he is.

Rock knows that there's no one in tko who has the wrestling knowledge and booking capability of HHH. And deep down Rock knows he himself is not dedicated to wrestling and hasn't been for over 25 yrs since he went Hollywood

Patterson, Briscoe and most of the old time lifer agents are gone. So now you're left with a bunch of tko employees who are likely college grad writers with no ties or interest to wrestling or understanding how to write storylines or how to interact with the boys and girls in the locker room

All of this could be easily changed.
HHH knows his shyt but everyone is already talking about who will be his successor (Punk, Seth, etc)
Shawn doing just as good if not better in NxT.
The way NxT is setup, you gotta be a horrible booker to fail.

Seems to be a problem for both companies right now if we're being honest.

Triple H had some terrible booking in NXT as well tho.
