I don't think KD going down as top 5 DOA is as guaranteed as some think. However, no one could argue that Dirk is the best non-American player to ever do it.

Well Durant hit more shots out of post ups this year than Rodman hit from deep his whole career

There's really nothing Durant can't do at a high level as a scorer. He's not post oriented no, but he should be because of how effective he's been in those situations

Must be all mental.If he ever added that element to his arsenal, he could easily go down as top 5 all time

I've hardly ever seen him back anybody down.He has a face up J, but I've never seen any post work.

That's why i'll always take Dirk over Durant.....Durant is all about the J.

Yeah Dirk is better post scorer, but I wouldn't say he gets "grind it out" points. He's not versatile post player like Hakeem and Duncan. He relies on a very effective mid/high post move, the one-legged kick fadeaway, instead.

They play nothing alike except the fact they're both 7ft shooters. Even in his prime, Dirk never played on the perimeter like KD and was never a factor in transition like KD is anytime he's in on a fast break.

One is all time talent still cementing his legacy.

The other is probably the best shooting big man of all time.

Because it's obvious that KD is a better in a lot of areas.

It's just that I'd trade all that in for a devastating back to the basket move like the one legged fade.

Especially in a pressure packed situation.That's what I meant by grind it out.
