Breh, u and I both know this, but Im telling u what they think of themselves. They pride themselves on being, as I said in my first post, a "bastion of higher ed."
Also, not sure why they would leave the conference they built. UNC and UVA along with the rest of the Carolina schools are the core members. UNC and UVA are big dogs in the ACC and i have a difficult time seeing them go to the SEC to be on the bottom half of the totem pole. Now Clemson, GTech, FSU and NC State may jump at the opportunity to be in the SEC.
Politically here in NC, I dont think Carolina would be able to leave the ACC without State. However, I do believe State could leave the ACC without UNC. So its really a non-starter with UNC.

You right tho nearly ALL D1 public, state schools with a big time sports program and budget do that faux , paper class shyt ... only ones that likely don't are like UVA. .. maybe . And that's a weak, weak maybe .
With that said why the fukk would anyone think that UNC would leave the conference it help build ?
The Big 4 in North Carolina ain't going nowhere .
People will continue to fight to try to keep the state of North Carolina as the center of the ACC universe . They might end up losing that battle tho.
On another note people once again talking about the BIG12 gonna collapse (after all those bullshyt talks got shut down a few years ago the yappers back at it) ... I still think it'll be a while IF it happens ... the BIG12 is still good for college football .

Texas and OU are the ones who opposed this expansion they got 0 reason to join any conference. They run big 12 what's the point of playing second fiddle in another conference when you call all the shots in your conference.

The Oklahoma schools are the only ones I can see joining.
A lot of the schools you all are talking about are either tied to other schools through legislation or will be blocked by schools currently in the conference.

North Carolina not leaving the ACC but UVA and ND might.UNC would go to the Big 10 before the SEC.
