$1400 is enough bread to make a difference in a lot of people’s life who has been struggling since the pandemic regardless of income. Just because you were making $80,000 pre pandemic doesn’t mean that you’re still making that amount now.

Everybody's financial situation is different. $80,000 is not a lot depending on where you live and a lot of factors that come into play. Who am I to say that they don't need or deserve the $1,400?

Nah they lowered the cap to $150K cutting out 12 million adults and 4.6 million children in the process. Dudes on here were saying that it was cool because 80K is "rich" when it's really not depending on the expenses that you have plus other factors.

This. As someone who lived in Boston recently, I can tell you that the cost of living alone is a major factor. The fact that one could make 80k in certain parts of the country and still might have to "stretch" their money is telling in itself.
