It’s always people that claim to be introverted( really socially awkward) talking about extroverts

I've been called an introvert 100x more than i've ever called myself an introvert. Literally the first time I was ever even introduced the concept was in a social studies class where the teacher explained introverts and extraverts, and two girls immediately pointed at me after he broke down introverts. It's a label that's stigmatized towards anyone who's quiet/keeps to themselves to the point where people conflate introversion with anxiety/awkwardness

it just means I have a finite bandwidth for dealing with other people's bullshyt, before I leave the party

or I get overwhelmed @ the grocery store by bumbling idiots taking up entire isle or people damn near running into me with their baskets because they're not paying attention to their surroundings; and just saying "fukk it , I'll click list this shyt " and abandon the cart right there on the spot.

It's the reason I use to eat in the car on lunch breaks before the WFH life chose me


It's not that I dont like people or i'm such a misanthropist , It's that people 7/10, arent as charming, competent, or intresting as they think are and try to more or less force interaction upon others to the point it puts a drain on their mental energy.

Extroverted people get actively excited about the prospect of a social gathering. They look forward to seeing people or meeting new people or talking to groups.
Introverts can do those things, but feel drained after them. Or would prefer to chill at home (even if it is with one or two trusted friends).


The biggest lie about the intro/extra social spectrum is that introverts for some reason hate people and hate conversation. For many introverts they just hate small talk or pointless conversations.

Right - like among my friends I'm actually one of the most talkative guys and have to get told to shut the fukk up sometimes...but when i'm outside of my friend circle I'm not trying to converse too much and small talk is agonizing.
