Seriously, why is the Switch so rare to find?

It's probably a good move on nintendo's part too, not having a lot of owners of the console until their game line up beefs up a little more. This way there isn't a chorus of owners decrying the lack of games, while the smaller userbase builds up the hype for it in the meantime. They need to have a bunch more released before Mario Kart and Arms drop though, so that they can keep the positive reviews coming in at a healthy pace. A little scarcity wouldn't hurt after these launch, but they probably don't want people to start losing interest either.

What exactly is Nintendo's logic behind limiting the number of Switch consoles they shipped out? I already bought a copy of Breath of The Wild and that shyt is collecting dust because I can't buy the Switch anywhere.

And now I am hearing there is gonna be a scarcity of Switches until the end of the yr.

Why didn't you just get the Wii U version? It's the same thing without being able to rip the controller from the gamepad.

You guys don't understand business. It's not artificial shortages, its releasing with conservative number to test the waters before ramping up production.

You think nintendo wouldn't have loved to get many more to buy a switch at launch? should they make 50 million of them available on day 1 and let dead stock sit across the world and potentially unsold?

did they do that for the n64 and gamecube?

or are they doing this now because demand is low for the switch? U think demand is low because there is nothing special about it. Same shytty graphics.

For anyone interested in buying one, keep an eye on the official Siwtch thread as I try positing when I hear there's incoming stock available. For instance, Toys r Us got them in stock this morning. I should've probably posted that fact in this thread last night but I forgot :snoop:

Don't try buying online, that's nearly impossible. Try a local Target or as much as I despise them, a local Gamestop. Find out when they're getting shipments and show up ealry before opening. Obviously, that's dependant on any of you having the time to do that :yeshrug:

The cheapest used Wii U i found was $200. Its makes no sense to buy a used console for $200 when i could just add $100 more and get a new one

Oh, I thought you already had a Wii U. Apologies.

Switch is selling to that 3ds/gameboy market that Nintendo has neglected for a while. Putting out shytty 3ds revisions wasn't cutting it.
