I love how respectful cam was in the beginning to the principal and then they just blatantly started dissing him as time goes on

Na came wasn't, but ti was a superstar IMO, the movies, combined wit the music got him there IMO, shyt till this day people fastanated wit his life, and still watching his tv shows and shyt

He hurt his career with Pushing Purpule Haze back and the killa season album/movie cycle. The suck it or not single was a bad idea because it didn't crossover well. Touch it or not sounded so bad on the radio.
The movie itself was terrible. Than the 60 minutes interview was the nail in the coffin. I saw a recent interview where Cam said he wished he could take his comments back but the damage was done.
By the time his mom got sick and Tru Life hit him in the face Cam went from local superstar to mixtape rapper...

As far as the killa season album it did.330k on asylum which is half indie...which is excellent..all of this while jay is blackballing killa...
The 60 minutes thing put cam in a no win situation....because if he said he would have told,then the same nikkas would have been making threads like

Jay-Z feeling threatened and cam not being a sucker was the only thing that stopped cam from being a superstar...

Cam's class is Biggie, Big Pun, Jay-Z, Ma$e, Big L, Nas.
Cam has discography full of average albums. There are glimpses throughout his career of greatness. His work with COC, joints with the diplomats, his movie roll in Paid In Full. I can't say Jay blackballed him when he's been in countless interviews giving Jay and even Nas now props.
Cam was Cam's own worst enemy. Jay didn't make him answer anderson cooper like that on 60mins.
Jay didn't order Tru Life to punch him
Jay didn't get his mom sick
Jay didn't convince Jim Jones & Juelz to try and partner with 50
