facts. Toronto is a caribbean melting pot (speaking as a Guyanese with fam out there). and im sure some of aubrey's friends have west indian descent so its not farfetched for him to pick it up every now and then.

The thing that's puzzling is people say Canadians talk like this and Toronto is a cultural melting pot....ok cool....but Drake has several videos out from DeGrassi, before he rapped, and that accent is nowhere to be seen. He sounded like a typical suburban kid.

Im from Toronto too though... And once again nobody talks the way Drake does. Its the most unnatural swagless fake Patois ever. It sounds like Drake is mocking it almost. He does not sound like a Toronto nikka whoever thinks he really does is not from Toronto whatsoever
