The US will never directly assault Saudi Arabia unless it had direct proof and it's world wide proof that directly stipulates the saudi family was responsible for 90% of terror acts and funding. which im sure the american govt knows about, but since they are dealing with millionaires and oil barons, it's one big game as long as the news doesnt get out that saudi is involved with hard facts and proof. the US will continue to turn a blind eye. it's all one big cycle, if you think about it. If you could stop terrorism with one fight, then the US would have nobody to fight. programs designed to fight against terrorism would be obsolete and govt contracts given to these corporations would be dry up as well as their cash flow. What better way of making money than creating your own terrorism industry. It's always been a cycle. Just follow the money.
