First, dont come in here and front like youre anything but the person you just described.........ive seen you nikka...........cut the shyt

Secondly, this thread isnt about sharing secret recipes...........the thread is simply a question to the people who feel/say starting a buisness is the real road to success in this country on

1. what, if any, buisness ventures they have in mind when they make this statement

2. how and why they feel they could make that venture(s) profitable for them

3. and whatever else they want to say on the topic

There are ways to touch on all three of those things without divuluging specific gameplans ...............so dont come in here and try to fukk my thread up with your nonsense you dikkhead

That attitude will get you far in life.

I want to learn programming and work from home as an independent contractor. I don't have anything planned out for this but I do some research when I can.

I want a small rental hall business...something small that holds 50-100 people. I have a space that I want and the cost is $89,000 but it's over priced because it needs some plumbing work and it also has some other issues.

My ultimate goal is to open my own skating rink or be in the financial position to purchase this other rink. That's a multi million dollar investment though so that's waaaaayyyyyy down the line.

the GOAT business is owning a parking garage or a storage facility

ALL profit :blessed:

only a couple employees..

Both of which can have very high start up costs which could take some real time to recoop, can have alot of associated monthly/yearly expenses that come along with them, etc............

I own an IT consulting business. We work with small businesses to implement various technologies they need. Do everything from HIPAA audits, PCI compliance, technology strategy and implementation. Depending on the job we start at $100/hr and go up. Depending on the position I'll pay my employees $15-20/hr and sub contract them out. We also do web design and I'm thinking bout moving into web marketing as another business.

How'd you get started with that?

How much did you go into with? How'd you build your brand to a point where your able to bid (i assume) and obtain contracts?

Oh as for actual business plans, i'm into psychology and hypnosis, there are people that make decent money with those kinds of skills, whether you do in person sessions, audio shyt, ect.

Also looking into building a studio, i know i just wanna be involved in hip hop in some kinda way, and that's not even really just for the money enough though i know for a fact it could come in, that's just a part of my life that's already such a solid thing that it needs to be monetized...i think figuring out what those things in your life are is a huge step toward finding a direction. Look around at what you already have, what you already do and see where some money can be made.

Consider buying a franchise. Banks, microlenders, and the SBA have more cash than they do qualified borrowers. A large part of getting qualified is having a credible business plan and achievable performance expectations.

From what i understand its not easy to get into the franchise game..............

im assuming your reffering to the big name franchises because those are the onese that basically sell themselves.........

I think most businesses can start small, from at home and grow from there. Save a couple of thousand and see what you can do from there. That way even if you fail you don't owe a bunch of money.

How'd you get started with that?

IT's my career. Got tired of only making so much. I got my first gig through a broad I was fukking. She was director of a company and one of her clients needed IT services for a project she was on.

How much did you go into with?

I really didn't need much bread. Most my startup expenses was getting all of my paperwork in order. That's the good thing about consulting. None of my staff ever have to be at the office. My overhead is practically 0.

How'd you build your brand to a point where your able to bid (i assume) and obtain contracts?

Networking. You do a good job, people here about you. Plus I go to a lot of different events. There's tons of ways to market yourself. I also worked with a marketing/small business firm to help me grow past my initial small market. And you don't always have to bid. You know the right people, they'll just hire you to do the job.

Aiight breh...just don't try to do anything photography related because you're fukking trash. :heh:

lol.....

i got into photography like 3 years ago on a hobby tip..............so yea, my photography skills arent anything special, i learned everything i know about it off google searches and forums lol...... But im seriusly working on learning the craft now because 1. i like it 2. i see alot of ways to make money with it and 3. i dont like serving anything but the best product. So im going to go the school route with it and formally learn the craft next semester..... But even still, im getting paid to take pictures RIGHT now lol. And im talking from a couple hundred to over a grand a night taking pictures.........and this aint even my main thing............ITS YOURS lol

photography is a seed for me........one of many...........which im watering......

but you on the other hand.......youre fully blossomed and your pictures look the way they do lol. I could really go in on you and those bullshyt snapshots you take but i wont right now.......... the way i see it is, If you actually have people buying that bullshyt ur selling more power to you.....keep the scam going. You actually inspire me, cause im thinking "if this nikka is able to sell those trash pictures i know ill be able to feast of this once i learn it......."

So the way i talk to u has nothing to do with the pictures you take..........I speak to you the way i do because I dont like you as a person ..........youre a sucker . I just treat you accordingly.......thats all

People think it's an end all, be all of their lives. Being a small business owner can be rather stressful and if you stick w/ it and don't get lazy, it'll pay off for sure.

that sounds smart the way you packaged that product. How many people were in your team?

I feel you on whole photography market being saturated right now.......im actually making moves to make photography profitable for me.

What i see tho, is even with all the saturation..........there are still huge voids in it that could be made into very profitable ventures. I also peep how most of the people who are doing photography are quantity over quality based which creates another void in the market.......

I only had 3 people in my whole team. My man's had the proper vehicle for transporting my gears and helped me set up. We also use to scout the international bars and clubs in DC to talk get an idea of what was popping in international scene (Hindi, Persian, African music all around). DMV cats should remember LOVE nightclub and their 3rd floor international night. Also using international forums to see other countries top 40. I believe the :hamster: had an international music sub-forum was on there since 06. Whenever we got an inquiry, i'll create a 15 minute personalized little mix sessions and email it to the client, they'll be :stylin: ready to open the check book up. The photographer is a chick I went to college with, she was talented AF but she had that whole "I only do it for a hobby" mentality til we broke down how much she can make after 3 weddings. She's expanded her line to "Boudoir", Baby shoots, Wedding and she 's doing pretty well. I wanted to add more value as opposed and just being an "DJ Service" I believe with services dealing with multimedia, the best way is to package them. Haven't really had time to perform a current full market analysis but definitely looking to get back into it this summer.
