Curry got his shots swatted about 3 or 4 times. That's not being "off." That's good defense.

And what you Coli folk who have clearly never played sports in your life don't understand is that that shyt fukks with your confidence. He's not missing shots he normally makes because he's having an "off night." He's missing them because he's shook, dude has never had his shots punched that many times in one game...tight defense will make you lose trust in yourself.

You right but...

too bad the Spurs showed their hand :youngsabo:

While I don't know about Curry not being able to impose his will or some shyt, why do nikkas on here act like Curry is immune to tough defense? I have never seen this before. Press him in a manner that minimizes his bread and butter and he has a tough night just like any other player, good or great.

Spurs deserve their credit.
The dummies have convinced themselves that he plays like his most impressive highlights, all game every game. They dont realize or dont want to acknowledge that a lot of his shots come from open looks/mismatches on the break, and from open looks created by dozens of illegal screens and uncalled holding every game. Like defenders are just forgetting to stay close to Steph and remember he wants to shoot the three. :dead:

curry stil got off 12 3's tonight
It's his main way of scoring so of course he chucked up 12 of em

But the point of interest is the hands in his face when he shot them. And how many defenders were in the vicinity of the play

Did you notice the Warriors didnt get to score on that inbounds play tonight where someone just goes to front of the rim and just lays it in and the other team just looks at each other like dunces?

The Spurs played masterful defense tonight

Crazy how he is taking it better than the fans... :patrice:

Spurs messed up showing their hand, tonight.
They were so low on confidence against Gs, that they needed this for morale. When if they were really ready to beat Gs in a series.
They would have saved this strategy for an actual playoff meeting.

I think they also fouled him a couple of times near the top of the arch to prevent him from getting a shot up. I don't know if that was intentional or not but that might actually not be a bad idea. You risk getting Golden State shooting more free throws but it might actually be more efficient when Curry gets really hot. I wonder if teams have done the math on this. Sort of a hack-a-Curry to prevent him from scoring like 9 points in three quick possessions, you only give up 6 points instead at the most to prevent them from getting back in it or extending a lead in no time at all like they did to the Mavs the other night.

He hits Atleast 2 or 3 of those 3 pointers and it's a different game. He just had a bad night.
