Steve Kerr on Steph Curry's status before Game 2: "We will definitely err on the side of caution" - Talking Points
-KERR: Depends on what good-to-go means. That’s the interpretation that’s important here. So he’ll warm up and we’ll talk to the training staff and we will definitely err on the side of caution.
If he’s not right, then he’s not going to play. It’s not worth risking turning this into a long-term issue.
But there’s a chance he’ll get out there and he feels great, the training staff says he’s ready to go. In that case, we’ll play him.

He understands we have, first of all, his best interests at heart in his career. We know he had surgery on that ankle four years ago.
So he’s got a lot of basketball ahead of him.
There’s plenty of cases in the past where people played through stuff and it didn’t turn out so well. Grant Hill being the one that always jumps out at me.
Whether that’s the same type of thing as this I don’t really know, but I do know we have to look after his health because the competitor that he is, he’s going to want to play.
