The coli shyts on SAS almost daily, but the minute he doesn't give props to a white coach his word is gospel :mjlol:

All these posts and none of them having anything to do with basketball. Just save yourselves the time and say "I agree with SAS this one time because Mark Jackson is black".

Steve Kerr made the team better with S.A Spurs like ball movement cause Kerr was coached under Poppavitch

Mark Jackson relied on iso Plays for the most part

What are Nikkas talking about Kerr and the offense. This Offense was clearly created by Alvin Gentry. Kerr wanted to. Create a triangle offense. The Warriors DONT run a triangle offense. This offense is built like D antoni Phoenix Suns offense; which Alvin Gentry studied from. People are giving Kerr to much credit!!

Explain it better, since I'm so slow :jbhmm:

How does Fisher have anything to do with Kerr or Mark Jackson?

:leostare:
Both proteges of Phil Jackson
Both took jobs in the same season with no head coaching experience.
One took over a fantastic team already with good players.
One took over a bad team with mediocre players.

Kerr went into a situation where a huge amount of groundwork was already laid for him.
Fisher went into a situation that he knew was going to get worse before it ever got better.

The point being, you jagaloon, is that given the advantages that Kerr inherited, the credit bestowed upon him deserves to be taken with a certain degree of salt.

Mark Jackson was more of a cheerleader than a coach. I don't know why this has to be a race thing. There are plenty of former coaches out there who have had spurts of success due to having great rosters and then got exposed as frauds. All people can really say in his favor is that the team record improved while he was there but the roster improved while he was there too.

Scott Brooks, Byron Scott, Mike Brown, Sam Mitchell, Avery Johnson, Mark Jackson, etc all coached talented teams that won a lot of games.

Well then Doug Collins deserves credit for the first couple of Bulls Chips this bullshyt people say is so fukking ridicolous. Jackson wasn't the coach a$$hole get over it! Tiki Barber deserves credit for the Giants 2007 chip cause he was a main contributor of the foundation.

OMFG:snoop:
I was coming in to say something to this effect but about Del Harris and the Lakers.
