In the ocean where the sharks be at
He is this season. Curry's on pace to have the greatest scoring season ever. He's averaging 2.5 points per shot.

In total (career) points per minute
Jordan. 79
Bron .69
Kobe .69
Kareem .67
Malone .66

For his career, Curry is at .63, last three seasons it's been .73, this season it's .88

He too deadly wit that trey ball. Perimeter Shaq

EDIT: Jordan best season86/87 was .93:blessed:

Those are nice numbers, but who is to say that more minutes for Steph don't lead to more fatigue and less effective shooting over the course of a season?

I never cared about those 'what if' type of statistics, only what has actually been done. And what MJ and lesser extent Kobe did over the course of 7 years scoring wise impresses me more. Steph is hot now, let's see how he maintains and gets better
That's a valid argument - however Curry has already proven he can play 38+ minutes in his career (played 78 games out of 82) - while not having a significant decrease in his shooting percentages throughout the season. And I mean the only reason he doesn't play more minutes is because he and his team build insurmountable leads (10-20+ points heading into the 4th) that teams simply can't come from behind. Playing a few extra minutes a game isn't going to affect his effectiveness by any drastic measure. If you only care about what has actually been done, than look at their scoring output/effectiveness/impact while they're actually on the court; look at the defensive attention they all received. You can't tell me that he isn't performing on the same level this season as a prime MJ and prime Kobe.

These are the games where he's played more than 35 minutes this season (49 FG% - which is incredible considering he takes 11.6 three-pointers in these games) -

The 215
Because he only plays 33.8 minutes a game. This is his scoring output per 36 mins next to Kobe's and MJ's best seasons:

Curry - 31.7 ppg on 20.9 shots per game
MJ - 33.4 ppg on 25 shots per game (his next best season is 31.2 ppg on 21.7 shots per game)
Kobe - 31.1 ppg on 23.9 shots per game (his next best season is 27.9 ppg on 20.1 shots per game)

I don't know about being a better scorer, but he's definitely on the same level as a prime MJ and prime Kobe.

It don't work that way homie. Basketball players aren't machines. You can't extrapolate. There's this thing called fatigue that humans have. Shooting that many times night in and night out will tire you out. Playing more minutes night in and night out will tire you out. Miss me with your imaginary numbers. Either does it or he doesn't.
