Curry isn't a better scorer than Jordan... but Curry will warp a defense in ways that no one ever has in the league.

Better question is who is 'more impossible' to deal with from a team defense perspective, Curry or Shaq :manny:

Kobe/Jordan??? :dahell:

niccas must be smoking somekinda new crack or something

where are these threads comin from, I'm not takin anything away from Steph cuz I'm not a hater but come.....ON :snoop:

Steph is nice, shootin like he on fire on NBA Jam, got that ring, GSW killin it this year too, but when did he become the second coming on The Coli:wtf:???

This conversation would have been blasphemous in 2014.

Now he better than Jordan and Kobe. Took him a whole 7 years to become the star those guys were at 22. Kobe was Kobe from 2001-2012. Jordan was the GOAT the moment he got drafted. Let's see Steph do it for a little bit longer. He was a nobody two years ago.

It don't work that way homie. Basketball players aren't machines. You can't extrapolate. There's this thing called fatigue that humans have. Shooting that many times night in and night out will tire you out. Miss me with your imaginary numbers. Either does it or he doesn't.
So Curry playing an extra couple minutes a night = him needing to be a machine? :heh:

It's not about extrapolating #s, it's about the level he's playing at. Curry's only playing 33.8 minutes a game, how is a few extra minutes going to drastically affect his shooting efficiency? We're not talking about just a standard shooter - we're talking about the greatest shooter of all time. He's shooting 49% (while taking 11 threes) in the games where he plays 35+ minutes this season - proof that his shooting percentages don't drop by any notable scale.

Man, I don't know. I definitely think he belongs in the conversation.

You give him close to 40 minutes at his efficiency and dude would be averaging about 35+ a game with a ton of assists too.

Also miss me with that conversation like teams aren't trying or haven't tried everything to stop him yet. We've all mentioned how the opposition's whole team runs out to contest what they think will be a shot every time he hesitates.

Over the course of 82 games....yes nikka :heh:

As far as scoring like Jordan and Kobe did.....why hasn't he done it yet? The world doesn't work on "Ifs".

Why hasn't he scored like this before? Because he's at his peak this season. I'm not saying he's a BETTER scorer, I'm saying he's scoring on the same level as a prime MJ and prime Kobe, this season. I've already explained to you why he doesn't have regular mammoth scoring outputs.

He's not scoring on the same level.

Scoring on the same level = scoring on the same level.

Not "well if he played more minutes and shot a few more shots, according to his fg% he'd score just as much"

No nikka.

The world doesn't work on if scenarios.

Let Steph do it first, then come back, and make threads.

But he is scoring on the SAME level. Can't y'all dudes use common sense? :francis:

Lebron said he was tired after scoring 60 points.

This is Lebron. Never been injured. Freak of an athlete. A tank of an NBA player.

And he was gassed after trying to score so many points.

I don't even gotta argue man. If it was so easy, tell the nikka to do it. Start dropping them 50 point, 60 point games back to back to back. Let's see it :manny:
