That was my personal opinion. Shyt has been trash lately. As I've said in the other thread, many of our current Black artists are stagnant. Nearly EEEEEVVVVEEEERRRYYYYTHANG pushed to the forefront sounds the same. Muthafukkas are lazy, lack creativity and stick to a safe formula.
That ok for you to have that opinion. But record companies are like financial banks that only fund safe projects to make money from. Black people come for to what labels want instead making music that real to themselves. It’ll happening when blacks have the worst prospects for jobs in the economy. Money stagnates them not a lack of creativity. To be honest when have black folks ever lack style?

I was giving an example, dummy
But since you wanna be technical, retard, it’s “Filipino culture” and Bruno is half Filipino.

So what if he's half philipino? He knows nothing about that culture. He is a westerner. Hes a typical yank whos obsessed with entertainment and all that bling bling bullshyt. He couldn't even pick out the philipines on a map.

Whites being racist hasn’t changed and it’s not going to change. Now what? It is our fault if we keep falling for the same bullshyt over and over and over.
No but if you let it continue and go unchallenged then wrongs don’t get righted.

African American music is more than just music and entertainment. It is my culture and heritage nikka. We can't help it our shyt gets exploited and shipped all over the world and the fact that it does doesn't mean it's no longer my culture or heritage.
Ok, but it's also a product. Black Music is the most popular on the planet. How angry can you possibly be about someone else enjoying or making it? My only issue is when they don't recognize the truth, but that's gonna happen :yeshrug:

People need to stopped listening to these social media militants who always talking out they ass on a artist like bruno who from what I have seen never criticized blacks or the music..

And the motherfukkers who always complaining is usually those Erykah Badu wearing neo soul motherfukkers who want their favorite artist to get airplay

Sell out for a check, brehs.

I've studied the industry my entire life my nikka, I'm well aware how that shyt works. You can't get mad at a nikka (bruno and his production teams) successfully reviving a style long discarded by Blacks but be sympathetic to current nikkas WILLFUL stagnance. There's a reason why Indies exist. If an artist signs to a major he/she sold their soul by volition. It is what it is.

It makes perfect sense. A lot of immigrants groups don’t let outsiders in their mix, especially concerning their culture. This is an irrefutable fact. But, black American culture, created by the descendants of slaves is up for grabs
how does one solve this ?
