I don't care who they interview or the frequency. So long as the team is doing proper information gathering and self-scouting while making the most of the information for the betterment of the team.
most of these interviews are to determine who they want to hire as coordinators

they have done 7 interviews so far and have another 10 scheduled

I think only 4 or 5 of those guys are seriously being considered for the HC job

the rest are being interviewed to see who they’ll pick for the OC and DC jobs

So they HC wouldnt hire their own OC/DC? Isnt the norm for the HC to hire those? I know people were killing Jerry Jones for not letting Shotti or w/e his name is choose the DC.

I could be overthinking it. I think this is the Ravens playing chess. They interview Schwartz, maybe the Browns panic and higher him as their HC, so they eliminate themselves from hiring someone the Ravens really want as their HC, OC or DC. I say this because "Cleveland doesn't want to lose him."

I think they interviewed him just in case they go with a offensive HC so they can make the best decision on who to pick for DC

I don’t think guys like Schwartz,Kingsbury,Davis Webb,Flores,Nagy,Mike McDaniel, etc are serious HC candidates

I believe they are interviewing these guys for potential coordinator positions when they choose their HC

I still think it will be either Kubiak or Minter for the HC job

They just have to decide if they want to go with a offensive HC or defensive HC

410 the circuit city
Minter called a hell of a game tonight

Greg Roman and his pathetic offense sold the game

Ive been a Kubiak guy but im starting to lean to Minter

if we hire Minter and can get Mike McDaniel or Sheelhaase as the OC I think we will be contenders next season

hiring a defensive HC just scares me because we have gotten the OC hire wrong so many times over the years but hiring a defensive coach might be the best move to get us right back into contention next season
Yea I keep going back and forth between offensive coach and defensive coach. My gut is going defense though because Lamar has shown he is the offense(which we can’t continue) but with the right support I think we’ll be fine. But chaos and turnovers need to become a mainstay in Baltimore again!!

Fastest return on investment->Defense HC, which also opens the biggest risk of getting the OC hired by another team.

Going with an offense HC->Brings up another risk of rolling the dice with the defense. Just lower hit % with the lesser-known defensive mind

Last week I was all in on an offensive HC, the wildcard weekend is a reminder that defensive scheme>>>>
Teams we're still able to get wins despite their offense committing multiple turnovers.

2024 offense was historically great
2025 just needed a rotation in LG and RG. Optional: Devontez Walker getting more snaps and utilizing D-Hop more.
Offense is really that simple.

Defense also simple, if it's clearly not working....ADAPT AND TRY SOMETHING NEW
Games that were out of reach, use your bench to experiment or notice anyone showing out.
Orr ran a unique simulated pressure look vs the Dolphins that worked....I rarely saw it after that game smh
Stop hindering your defensive line depth because of special teams.
Stop dropping back DTs, and edge rushers.
With old, less mobile QBs fukk all that contain and pin your ears back and rush the damn passer
.....I'm never going to forgive Harbaugh for allowing Zarch Orr to waste 2 seasons of the roster smh

Can’t believe we actually lost to this trash ass Steelers team with our season on the line

Im so glad Harbaugh is gone

missing the playoffs was a blessing in disguise
Exactly. I told people, they need to miss the playoffs and be bad for Harbaugh to be gone. It was tough, but I'm glad the season is over. I just hope they don't fumble the off season. They need oline help and pass rusher(s).

I'm hoping someone on the Ravens or their new DC is watching the Texans dominate with their defense. They need to be able pressure and sack the qb with 4. Dropping 7 into coverage is the best strategy in today's NFL.

I know they like Hamilton closer to the LOS, and he's very effective at blitzing, but they still need to find ways to have him in primarily in coverage.

This is why I’ve wanted them to switch back to a 4-3 alignment on defense for ages now.
