I watched both of those players every week and my personal opinion.
Micah is a better player not by much but he’s better and I can guarantee you damn near every GM would choose Micah over Max

I do think Chubb woulda been a good option. But there’s no guarantee he signed here. Two first round picks is steep but I see why they did it. I don’t think they felt like they needed to sign two pass rushers with Mike Green on the roster. That might hurt his development. He should flourish playing opposite of Crosby.

At the end of the day, I still believe the most important thing is shoring up the offensive line and trading that 14 pick (which they would’ve pick the best G) and possibly losing Lindabon for this Max trade …. is a bit too risky.

They can still improve the line without the 14th pick. I think Lindy is gone regardless of the Crosby trade. I expect EDC to still draft a couple of lineman(he has 10 picks I believe) and grab a couple in FA.
