The disagreement went to arbitration, and the panel agreed with Lore and Rodriguez. Taylor could have appealed but chose not to. The sides have now agreed to finalize the deal.

If it was up to him, he would not be selling the team. So bringing up the Timberwolves selling for 1.5B based on old data in 2021 isnt really telling all the facts for a team selling in 2025. If it was based on 2021 stuff, that piece of the lakers the Buss family sold wouldnt be selling for 10B either.

They are selling their shares based on 100% of the Lakers being valuated at $10 Billion.
So in reality the Buss family is getting ~$5 Billion for their 51% share of the team.

Not at all. But the Wizards or the T'Wolves ain't selling for half of that. Lakers/Celtics ain't the rest of the league. T'Wolves majority stake + the WNBA team went for less than $1.7 billie.
