They dropped it at the wrong time.

The Beehive bought these OTR2 tickets day 1 and after that Coachella performance they were expecting a Beyonce solo album. People aren't even given themselves a chance to like the album.

If this album came after a Beyonce Solo album people would be more receptive

Whats this obsession with spinning it at as L tho? It was a surprise album put out with no promotion. The reception that I’ve heard from the album seems good. With them touring I’d be shocked if the album doesn’t have legs.

Nah. shyt was awkward as fukk on Summer. Its awkward on a few songs and far more out of the pocket than Nas was on any song on NASIR. Lyrically. Jay did his thing. Flow was not his strong point on this album.
