I feel like this was under appreciated.
Jigga was on one the whole album. Production was nice. Bey brought melodies, vocals and some bars too.

Friends is great but too long....What single would have been best in your opinion?
Friends is great but too long....
I'm thinking Heard About Us would've been the best choice...
they obviously didn't make this thinking about singles
definitely worth it. the music is great except for the single...which I have to be in the mood forI haven’t even listened to this. Is it really pop or some gems? That first single was not my thing.
Obviously the most underrated album for both of them, not from reviewers and such but from their own fans. It's not even that people don't rate it well it's that people don't/didn't really care. Although the video did what it did, even The Louvre just thanked them on their site for a record breaking year in museums ww of all times.

Other than that the interest was cold, even from myself. I played it twice or so but I only kept on playing Friends and Black Effect.
I think the problem is that it's good, but I'd rather hear a Beyonce album or a Jay-z album. Just like most people. I think the album lacked depth and interesting lyrics, it was just good, solid and safe pop music. Not what you want from either of them. It's hard to record interesting pop/rnb/rap-mash albums, it takes real time to develop good ideas. And they did this real quick.
Friends was a dope a song indeedFriends is great but too long....
