:wow:

All Tomlin needed was a veteran at QB and the Steelers look like contenders this year.
Mike has been making chicken salad from chicken shyt for so long

Washed Big Ben
Mason Maga Rudolph
Duck Hodges
Kenny Pickett
bytch Trubisky

Matt Canada as the OC

He has somehow been winning with that shyt. When we signed Russ people were clowning. I kept saying all we need is Russ to be an average QB. That’s it. Hit the open receiver reliably. We have not even had that for the last 5 years

Steelers end of the season stretch was absolutely brutal.

Still made the playoffs, but I’d be shocked if they upset the Ravens next week.

Their QB is still as muddy as ever. There are some interesting options outside of the top two projected QBs.

Maybe the organization and Tomlin say fukk it, have an off year in 2025 and go for a top QB in the 26 draft.

Their last 4 games were brutal but going 0-4 simply wasn't optional. They were 10-3, at worst you'd think they'd manage 2-2 in those four games...

There's gonna come an inflection point, do you just rerun the same season over and over, or is it best for both sides to go their separate ways. Pittsburgh is never gonna be terrible with Tomlin there, and maybe they just really need to bottom out so they can honestly rebuild this shyt...

This is Andy Reid in Philly vs Andy Reid in KC. Same exact situation, this is where you do the “trade the coach”. Both teams get better

Reid got fired but I'm with you. It was 14 years in Philly and he just ran his course...

Tomlin is 18 years in, it's run its course. And look, winning a title in Year 2, with a team that just won the title 3 years prior, and then coaching 16 more years, no titles; 14 years, no SB appearance; 8 years, no AFCCG appearance; 8 years, no playoff win...

It's just run it's course...

Personally I don't think Tomlin wants to coach anymore after Pittsburgh. He had a chance to go to Washington and passed it up. I do think going somewhere else could rejuvenate him and he finds success. But I think once he, or the Rooneys, or they mutually agree, to part ways, I think he's probably done...

Tomlin is still relatively young (53 in March). He strikes me as a guy who'd like to enjoy the rest of his life on his terms. Just like Cowher, who was a few months short of 50 when he retired...

It's 2025. When I hear ppl talking about "run the ball, playaction, take care of the ball", all I see is a team that is gonna play the most vanilla style of football possible. I know the defense would appreciate a more exotic offense. When the defense gets off the field, they know the next offensive possession might be a 3 and out because of the play calling/personnel.

I'm interested in seeing what direction they go in the draft. I know Pickens is not a #1. shyt, I don't even know if he's a #2.

I don't know if the white Steeler fans in Pittsburgh would even want a modern offense, since all we hear about is how "blue collar" and hardworking Pittsburgh ppl are:pachaha:

Steelers are probably my favorite defense in the league, but you gotta put the ball in the end zone.

Reid was fired and actually had some losing seasons.

I think he went 8-8 in the Dream Team year (20110, then 4-12 in 2012 and was then fired. Chip Kelly took over in 2013 (the Eagles had the 4th overall pick)

The Eagles were also bad in 2007 (5-11 IIRC).
