It's just run it's course...
Personally I don't think Tomlin wants to coach anymore after Pittsburgh. He had a chance to go to Washington and passed it up. I do think going somewhere else could rejuvenate him and he finds success. But I think once he, or the Rooneys, or they mutually agree, to part ways, I think he's probably done...
Tomlin is still relatively young (53 in March). He strikes me as a guy who'd like to enjoy the rest of his life on his terms. Just like Cowher, who was a few months short of 50 when he retired...
