I think parents of any child should ensure they're baby is well taken care of. The point i was making was that it wasn't due to a child being vegan that it died it was due to neglect and mistreatment. The headlines positioned it as vegan so that it implies that a vegan child is at huge risk and a parent has to jump through hoops of fire to nourish their child. That's all I'm saying.I think you're missing the point..read that NYT article, vegan diets for babies are fine.
however, in order for young babies to get the key nutrients they need, vegans have to take extra steps to ensure the babies get them.
no doubt the nutrients found in most "traditional" baby foods on the market...
so let me reiterate: VEGAN DIETS FOR BABIES ARE FINE. but if you're gonna do it, make sure you're on top of it because if not, the baby could die.

if you still eat meat, why claim vegetarian or vegan?
