i WOULDNT MAKE IT 2 MINUTES RUNNING A MF MARATHON AND IM NOT ASHAMED TO ADMIT IT. ILL WALK THAT MF THOUGH. THEY WILL BE CLEANING UP BY THE TIME I CROSS THE FINISH LINE.Now try swimming a mile. It's bout like running 4 miles. With your face submerged in water for 3/4 of the time.
You have to get very comfy being out of breath and having to wait to inhale.
I like weights tho. Just improving to the point you can up the weights and reps is reward enough. Swelling up is a bonus

I want to get up to 4.5 miles running and the mile swimming at least 3x a week each. I have trained at that level before just slacked way off and keep starting over.
I lift about 2x per week. Straight bench press. 200 lbs. I have been doing 3 sets of 4. When I started I couldn't even budge 200 lbs.
