That was the first USA/Mexico match I've seen in a long time where I thought the US clearly had more attacking talent. And with Tyler Adams and Yunus Musah they probably have a better midfield too.
Mexico only looked good on passing.

Their finishing and defending vs set pieces were :scust:

Idk bout that breh.. Lainez was cooking that left side and I think Chucky was having fun out there shooting from all over the place. Mexico has attacking talent. Believe me it pains me to say that too but ima try to call a spade a spade on this one.

That's the only downside about the mexico win

It brought fukkboy some time and probably bwill be coach for the WC
Yeah it’s a catch 22. I don’t think Gregg has the intangibles… but winning against Mexico gives him some leeway. Thing is the stakes are only getting bigger now and he’s still with the team… so it’s kinda too late to switch…

I wouldnt hold much on Lainez as he was going up against an atrocious defender. Dude hasnt scored in like 2 years for his club :heh:

But i was referring mostly to the match played, not in general.

Breh we have had this discussion in many threads,

US soccer don't need to think out of the box, they just need to look what most European nation do with there set up. Ain't no thousand dollar"pay to play leagues" for a 10 year old or NCAA restrictions.

Imagine if the US had a Messi or Ronaldo but they never fulfill that potential because there families couldn't afford to put him in those teams.

But the federation would rather put a profit on the field than the best players
Excellent point..especially looking at how most of the greatest footballers came from poor backgrounds.

deadass.

people keep trying to get black kids to play but soccer but why are white americans so shyt?

white americans :trash: at basketball and skill positions in football too.

european white people have even lapped white americans in basketball.
Too many black people play basketball.

Now listen...I'm from NJ so Iverson was hugely popular even with white folks but there is still a misunderstanding/hatred coming from white people regarding basketball because black kids play it.

I grew up in galloway township/south jersey where it was common for apartment complexes to take down the basketball courts because too many black kids went there.

I think white parents want their kids to aspire to be white athletes ...which NFL has a higher great number of ....arguably atleast.

Yeah I don’t care for Gregg or ussf

I like Sargent but I think he’s a lil too timid. I need is a dog at striker

UOTE="The ADD, post: 42225431, member: 1985"]Sargent seems to be what he is, I don’t see a leap coming[/QUOTE]

Sargent works hard and does a lot of good little things. He's not the answer, but hopefully with a new club team and some proper coaching we haven't seen his ceiling. He's still very young.

No thoughts on Darly Dike being the future #9?

He’s got a role for sure but not the final answer. I like Dike but he’s so inexperienced.Bigger question is where does the 9 fit in the style of play. It’s so wing and midfield dominant right now.

Dike isn’t the answer either… I know he scored like 5 goals in 5 games but… he needs more grooming as well…

Yeah Sargent needs more grooming also.

I hope Weah pans out but… I’m not sure it’s Morris either… Pefok idk who he is…

This put me off Morris

I understand he's type 1 diabetic so that was probably the biggest reason why he stayed in Seattle but the dog part was:mjlol:

Jermaine Jones looked at that camera like:gucci:

But when he finally gets to Europe, he blew out his ACL :unimpressed:
