John wants all his money so he not taking a buyout and the Rockets don't want to pay him all that money so they don't want a buyout neither
The Rockets want someone else to pay John while getting some pieces back but no one needs a point guard who can't really shoot
That's not happening. If anything, Houston is going to have to give up pieces and picks themselves just to move off his contract.
The reason that LA and Phoenix took on Westbrook and Paul's contracts was because they still performed rather well the year prior. Wall performed horribly so you're going to be hard pressed to find someone to take him with how he played. Sitting him isn't going to help his value either.
The only way that Wall is going to increase is value is Houston trotting him out there on the court and him having an all worldy year, which he obviously didn't do last year.
