Bill Simmons said Joker is the best player of the last 15 years.

Completely disrespectful to Prime LeBron, Steph, and KD...

I'm sorry but I'm tired of the Joker glazing

He has to not get blown out in game 7's and play some defense
Did you see how Denver even managed to push it to a Game 7 in the first place?

It was a miracle they managed to push it that far with how short their rotation is and how many injuries they had. They literally had to play a dude with a 2-3 week hamstring injury because there was nobody else. How is that an indictment on Jokic that his team isn't good enough to where they need to put players out there on the floor with that type of injury?

THEY WERE TRYING TO
DO THE SAME THING WITH GIANNIS
WHEN IT LOOKED LIKE
HE WAS GONNA GO ON A RUN.

THESE CACS WANT FOREIGN PLAYERS
TO BE ELEVATED OVER THE GREATS
BECAUSE THEY KNOW NO
WHITE AMERICAN PLAYER IS DOING IT.

THEYLL MOVE TO SGA
IF OKC CAN WIN THIS YEAR

The league is seeing more centers these days. And as we can see some of them are doing decently against Jokic.

Zubac made it difficult for Jokic

And then Hartenstein + others

Throw Jokic in the 90s against elite centers...yeah he'd still be a star, but wouldn't dominate the game like in his MVP years.

Yeah I fukk with Jokic and love watching him play but Bill Simmons did go a bit overboard with the Jokic praise. He seriously called Jokic's airball against the Clippers that AG cleaned up an alley oop:mjlol:

Giannis to me is still the best 2 way player in the league but his supporting cast is shyt (worse than Jokic's). The gap between the 2 really isn't that large as people make it out to be.

He woulda at least went out in a respectable fashion
Respectable, how?

Breh, they literally would've done the same thing with him. Force the ball out of his hands and just let Westbrook, Braun, Watson, AG etc beat them. It would likely be even worse, because MJ is smaller and they have more suitable defenders for him.

Zubac tapped out; Hartenstein couldn't do anything with Jokic when he was getting the ball in good position.

I don't know how anyone can watch that Game 7 and come to any other conclusion that his injured/one-dimensional teammates weren't the reason why Denver got blown out. He already had multiple 40+ point games in this series, but somehow when his team is on death's door and the likes of Westbrook are being left open, this one game is a reflection of him not being able to dominate.

He would be playing 1v1 a lot more in the 90s I can tell you that much. He wouldn't be dealing with all these help defenders playing off their matchups.

Jokic never should have gotten past the Clips to be honest. Biggest dude on the court flopping and crying to the refs only Lebron is more egregious
But he did.

Denver fired their coach and GM just before the playoffs, went into the postseason with 6-7 playable guys (then had injuries to those guys) and they pushed a near 70-win team to a Game 7. Something like that should be commended, meanwhile, you had the likes of the Cavs who finished as the #1 seed and crashed out in embarrassing fashion to a lower seed in 5 games.
