What was her reasoning for ending it?I was with my ex for 7 years. Been through everything and then some.
After a couple of rocky months, we attend a BBQ together.
She's chatting with her home girls, I'm sitting with the guys.
She happens to be standing next to the cooler, so I asked her for a beer.
She coldly told me to get it myself.
At the time I blew it off as attitude.
But in retrospect, the venom in her tone and the ice grill she shot me should've woke me up.
She waited another month before leaving me.
Ancedote: I bought her a jersey in anticipation for the world cup. The day we were supposed to go to watch the game, was the day she moved out. When I came home at night, to an empty house for the first time in 4 years, the ONLY thing she left behind was the jersey I had bought her.
