As much as I enjoyed it, I've never understood the business reasons behind Caffeine putting so much money into URL.
I think I represent the average battle rap fan and I only watch URL battles on Caffeine I don't ever recall seeing a real commercial during an event.

Caffeine is the commercial. Unfortunately I haven’t watched any other content on there outside of URL.

Chilla isnt a dynamic writer, at all. And Daylyt is just fukking terrible.

Chilla evolved into one of the most dynamic writers of this era. He can scheme, punch, break down, nameflip, gun bar etc etc. Not sure how he isn't a dynamic.

Everybody literally does all that shyt. Thats not what makes somebody a dynamic writer, or a writer period. And does JC not do those things as well aside from scheming???

Said it before, Ill say it again. JC is a better WRITER than Lux, Daylyt, Chilla, etc because he EXECUTES better than them. JC can compact his ideas/thoughts into a 2/3/4 bar set up and still have lots of context because of his verbiage; he doesnt need to add a bunch of superfluous word association/diction to be complex. JC has mastered the art of brevity like no one else. Thats takes for more execution than scheming for 3 whole rounds...

He is a more consistent writer than Lux (we talking battle rap, in real rap Lux is light years ahead), and he has a higher floor.

The reason that I can't put him with Lux is JC hasn't written an impactful angle yet. Lux has had 3 performances where it made nikkas look at his opponent different (Cal, Hollow and Clips, to an extent). Lux ability to convey a message about a person's character, while constraining his writing to only using for the most part fact based material is kinda crazy. 90% of JC's material can go to anyone. Lux crafts his rounds specifically for his opponent.

At the same time, while it's impressive when it works, it has hurt him more often than not in battles. Lux is from an era where reality means a lot, so in an era where it doesn't matter, he purposely handicaps himself because he refuses to open up creatively because he confines himself mostly to only facts. I don't think any other writer does that except maybe Mook, if you consider Mook a writer.
