We used to argue all the time how Clips fell off, he just accepted Clips ain't shyt no more late last year. I'm laughing thru the pain right now, because I'm back in that moment with him, as I type this.

The Nitty/Twork style of battle rap, or more specifically, the championing of that style, has really ruined battle rap for me. The shyt is low-brow, idc how intricate nikkas think it is. They're talented indeed, but they've implemented a cheap ass formula that has these fans brainwashed. I'm thankful that guys like Lux & Mook are doing well in this era and still bringing the necessary balance to battle rap. Cal has a similar unorthodox approach to writing/rhyming, and I'm really hoping he beats Nitty clearly to help curtail that movement,

It’s not even just them, I hate punchlines battlers in general.

Bigg K, Fonz, Ave, etc all that shyt is garbage. When your style is based on back to back punches, there’s no way all those punches are going to be hot, which makes the style flawed. They’ve managed to stick around because fans seem to go crazy over the fact that you’re saying a punch, not whether it’s hot or not.

Rum Nitty is a class above those guys, but he has a ceiling. He’ll never be viewed in the same class of Surf, Roc, Hitman, etc. He has nice lines, but he doesn’t have any real shyt you can feel, which is why Geechi made that upper tier. He always seems to be a b side guy unless he’s giving a shot.
