The Snkrbst card was like $30 and the shyt was pretty much empty. There was less than 100 people at a event which featured Clips, Ill, B Magic, DNA, Big Kannon, JC and TODD. There were names on that card and the turnout out was still ass. It's not all about names. People will pay too see nikkas with bars battle. Stop underestimating the battlerap fan.
And I never said pay each of these dudes 10k. I said someone could take 10-15k and make a dope event with some of the battlers I listed. Charge $60-$70 for admission, have a ppv stream popping and get Smack to market it under the URL brand. nikka that's profit.
Top tiers been putting on lazy performances for a while and the best battles lately either weren't on URL or PG.If you wanna keep aging vets around and leave the prospects in the D League, watch your brand suffer. Yall bytching about DNA, Shine, and TODD getting battles but don't wanna push new talent. It's not about them promoting themselves. It's Smack's job to get them on stage for his brand to continue. Don't give them a big event to carry. Put the big names on a card to headline and 1 PG battle as the first battle of the night. They're the opening act in a packed house. If they put on a show and have the battle of the night or close to it the overall quality of URL improves. If nikkas leave the building saying the PG's killed it the vets will be forced to stop half assing and any mid tier takes the winner at the next event.
It's a no lose situation for Smack to do this.

The thing with Myers, prez, Ty law, etc is the fact they would generate the interest from purists but not the casuals. And they def would not have guys flying from all over to see them. That's how it is in all business. The purist help you break even but the casuals earn you the profit. These guys have not been marketed well to the casual fans. Who fault is that is up for debate

They were in Real Deal's hometown which is why they were able to pull that off. And don't underestimate the fact that Real Deal has been battling forever. Perhaps they should be willing to have events in these guys hometowns?

I do however find it hilarious watching the internet overly critique the prez vs Ty law battle but in the next breath remain easily impressed by simplified bullshyt being spit in other battles and calling that mediocre shyt a "classic"
