I've seen 2-1 DNA, 2-1 Prez, debatable, wait for footage, but I only saw 1 mention of choking in Prez's 3rd. The best description I read said debatable 1st, Prez clearly got the 2nd, and DNA had rebuttals and freestyled to take the 3rd. Daylyt was there and said Prez 3-0
THIS is why the shyt needs to be judged. I'm so ready for the word debatable to die. People will write whatever to justify their favorite rapper having a debatable.
Not coming at you, but I'm just tired of this in the culture in general.

Judging would cause more problems than the word debatable. Look at Goodz vs Tech 9 and Cortez vs Head Ice.

I really don't care for a judging system, because it's a subjective sport. I'll admit the judging was solid on the UFF, because the judges didn't know shyt about the sport. They listened without knowing anything about the battle rappers & selected who they felt won the battle. That's really as unbiased as you can get.
I actually think guys who are involved in the sport are extremely bias because they like what they like. I'm probably in the minority that feels that way as opposed to the crowd that feels people in the culture should be the judges.
Debatables are there for a reason. If you have two guys that match each other each round, I have no problem labeling the battle a draw. A battled being judged isn't gonna stop someone from justifying that there favorite rapper had a debatable.
You have someone here that believes KG lost every battle in the UFF. KG clearly beat Prez pretty easily, but yet KG lost every battle in the UFF? People are always gonna be bias

Every Olympic sports is judged. There doesnt seem to be issues there. The UFF is judged, and the right person always won. KOTD even judges battles.
URL has the best talent but they're battling for NO REASON if it isn't judged. The point of a sport is to have WINNERS and LOSERS, that is what makes any competition compelling.
Do you think Mayweather would be who he is if boxing fans were a bunch of dikkriders who woudn't allow the sport to be judged? No, and 44 times May went into that ring knowing anything can happen with the judges and still won. That is what makes sports. URL is nothing but glorified sparring, nothing more nothing less.
That's why you don't battle people in their hoods/let their homeboys be the judges. Pretty simple problem to solve actually.
Look at the Gattas/Sarah Kana battle. Everyone knows Gattas won that but since it was in Sarah's hood they gave it to her. Yes the wrong person won but guess what? That's what makes the battle, because it had stakes. Someone still won and someone lost, which is why we even still talk about that battle today.
What would judging fix? It would stop biased fans from voicing opinions? If anything it would favor simpler more direct bars because the emphasis would be to just win in the room.
