Get the F out of here with that BS.
Every Olympic sports is judged. There doesnt seem to be issues there. The UFF is judged, and the right person always won. KOTD even judges battles.
URL has the best talent but they're battling for NO REASON if it isn't judged. The point of a sport is to have WINNERS and LOSERS, that is what makes any competition compelling.
Do you think Mayweather would be who he is if boxing fans were a bunch of dikkriders who woudn't allow the sport to be judged? No, and 44 times May went into that ring knowing anything can happen with the judges and still won. That is what makes sports. URL is nothing but glorified sparring, nothing more nothing less.
Cut off the emotional BS.
Battle rap is not a physical sport. It's a sport of opinions. Your losing sight of what the platforms are for. The whole point of battle rap is to use the platform to build a name, network, & move on to bigger things. The URL/KOTD staffs have said this numerous times. A lot of guys just stay there because they enjoy it, or stay because they can't make music to develop a following.
Judging also encourages battle rappers to dumb it down to please the crowd & judges.
Who's to say there wouldn't be corrupt judging?
Let's take DNA/Chilla. DNA won in the building. If that battle was judged, there's a high possibility he would have won the battle. The footage drops. The perception has changed. Your able to catch everything Chilla says. Many felt Chilla's bars overwhelmed DNA's performance.
Alot of people want to hear clever shyt, be entertained, & hear bars. There's alot of people who don't even care about winners/losers. Your reasoning for the sport being judged is that your tire of fans dikkriding certain battle rappers. Who gives a fukk what someone else thinks? How would judging stop dikkriding? If someone enjoys watching some perform, they will continue watching them because they enjoy their style.
When it comes to battle rap & music, it's all subjective. You will never see me get in an argument over let's say, a common argument is who is better between biggie, pac, nas & jay-z. Reality of it is they are all top tier guys, it just comes down to what you like. There is no right or wrong answer.

It's not a sport.
