Calico is a good lyricist. He drops bars here n there, but he isn't at that level to fukk with a nikka like Lux. Can't blame him though, few are. Cal is better suited against the arsonals, K shines of the battle world. nikkas like Lux and Hollow will toy with him.

You're right about showmanship and delivery..Calicoe is a great performer..but his rhymes are ABC level compared to the niqqa he went up against.
They're also predictable..you know exactly when the punchline is gonna get dropped..hes a better version of DNA to be honest with you.
No hate..just my opinion on the matter.
DNA is a better lyricist than Cal. Cal just has a better flow and delivery. I didn't hear the DNA battle yet, so maybe he polished it up for sm2.

Understood, I'm just sitting back as someone who listened to the audio, and decided that I just need to watch the video when it drops. I couldn't make out a lot of what Lux said clearly, so the "dominance of Lux" was lost on me. If that audio was all I had to go on, I would've said Calicoe 2-1 cause it seemed like the crowd favored Lux cause he's the hometown nikka. But I'm not going that far because I know I can't judge this battle without video and some headphones.
Trying to stay out of the conversation because of what I just said...don't feel it's fair to either battler to speak on it.

this is where shyt is starting to get like the rest of SOHH with the stanning for favorites. This shyt is all opinions breh...we got nikkas in here who saying Conceited never lost and that Arsonal is a top 5 battler...stop riding for Lux so hard because you feel that you're right. Everybody doesn't judge battles the same way.
Because no matter what you think....Lux lost round 1

The crowd always cheer for the home town. Ignore em. I'm from NY and I couldn't give a fukk less where these nikkas rep. All I want is crazy bars to appreciate. One of my fav. Battles is Verb abusing some wack ny nikka (guardian angel joint). I hate the bias from these crowds too. Smack need to pick better venues to dead all that shyt.
I ain't sweatin these nikkas. It's all opinions, but you can still see the flawed ones. I just like to point em out. But I respect it all at the end of the day. nikkas gon have favs. Can't do nothing bout that. Btw. I been gave Cal that first round. It's a shame tho, the body bag would have been comical. Does anybody actually think cal is one of my favs?
I been calling cal overrated for 2 years lol
I been saying lux was going to massacre cal for 2 months
But I also said that with all the theatrics lux had he better not just win, he better really put cal in that casket.
So when I hear the audio and it goes cal saying some decent bars and people want to downplay them but lux saying better chance drying on a bedsheet and its gospel then I get upset
Cause it seem lux fans are trying to push a slim 2-1 victory as a bodybag because they know lux failed at what he was telling us he was going to do.
When I judge I consider everything and the theatrics play a part in why I'm disappointed wit lux
Of course lux is a better lyricist than cal, but this a battle u got to win on all those other points too.
Crowd was forgiving to lux on a lot of shyt, cal got damn near booed out the gym for slipping up on 1 damn word
Then to be gone that long and come back and steal verb shyt for the 3rd rd?
Very disappointing
