rewatching Diz vs Verb, this nikka Verb showed up for ALL 3 ROUNDS.....what happened man

SMH. They both showed up, Surf was clearly better. When did all great battles have to be debatable? Hitman vs Arsonal is a clasic too.

great individual performances =/= great battles

Hitman vs. Ars is a classic HITMAN performance

only 2 categories of classics imo

Classic Bodybags( Jaz/40, Rex/Clips, JC/Timebomb, etc.)
Classic back and forths (Verb/Hitman, BigT/Surf, etc.)

Surf beat hitman clearly but he didn't completely trash him so it aint making my cut

im sayin, how nikkas callin that a classic when SDH been droppin better back and forths for 3 months straight?

outside of the first round Surf/Hitman was lowkey lopsided, holla aint have enough bars/haymakers for surf at all his 2nd and 3rd

it wasn't as bad as his performance vs. Con, but i can't give Holla a pass for not snapping all 3 rounds in one of the last true grudge matches in battle rap

I guess the last top tier classic (both dudes at classic level) was Verb/Hitman. nikkas like to say Verb was only classic due to Big Gerald, but I never agree. Verb's rounds were all wild personal, and Hitman had three high quality rounds, rather than one and a half.

Hollow/Lux was the last classic between top tiers... Hitman/Surf def wasn't a classic to me and even though I agree with the "two type of classics" thing, Hitman/Ars is still a classic to me

This is what happens when nikkas only watch URL/URL battlers. They're so use to watching battles that should be vaulted they don't know how to act when they get a battle where one nikka is actually saying something hot. "Omg he killing this nikka, this battle a classic!"

Latest example: Gnaja vs Gutta. Gutta was lukewarm that whole battle but because Gnaja was so dope that battle is classic in the mind of a URL only nikka.

Also when a URL nikka has a simi decent performance, URL only nikkas tend to go crazy. surf had a couple lines vs Hitman and he clearly won, but was his bars that battle really that fire? Hell no. That wasnt a classic performance.

And yeah, I feel like Roc/Clips 2 was a classic too, but I feel like too many people think Clips obviously won (I'm not one of those people)
