There's a lot of reasons. Look at his gut and his face, he looks like he's in his mid to late 30s but there's plenty of cats in their twenties. Add to the fact that he's been around seemingly forever and it makes it seem like he's older, but he did start as a child more or less. Plus Rex has clearly led some kind of stressful life judging by his appearance.

Ill Will's shtick only ever worked in small rooms, and that alone kills any future for him in URL. The way he lost control of the crowd in that battle against DNA.. that was pitiful.. no attempts to win them back, just turning on them instead. Like homie that's your first big battle and you just threw a temper tantrum and lost to DNA, the most generic battle rapper.

URL would be geniuses if they really embraced the 2 on 2 wave. It could breathe new life into the vets who've mostly all battled each other already, plus it's less writing which should make the material more potent. That's like dozens of potential matchups for the next couple years.
