Standing in front of aye verb and trying to figure yourself out isn't a good move but y'all don't hear me though.

I feel like just as many if not more nikkas in here were saying Brizz is going to have a problem with Verb. It was a whole lot of "if we get a focused Verb, Brizz's pen is not going to hold up and he'll need to win the room to win the battle."

I mean yea, some folks obviously wanted Brizz to win badly, but I'm getting the vibe that you saw a board full of delusion. Maybe I filtered that shyt out, cause I don't remember it being so damn serious. Certainly not serious enough for you to cramp your arm patting yourself on the back with these "told you nikkas" essays.

If I can clown Daniel Myers for trying to buy his was into the top tier and it backfiring, then i can clown PGs trying to bait and troll their way into the top tier and getting washed. When you a celebrity poster, you can't be bias.

I don't remember, but did Brizz troll his way into rookies vs vets? Was he online taking shots at Verb all crazy and shyt? I don't recall it... I just thought Brizz generated a crazy buzz for himself and provided Smack with a obvious business move. I'm willing to guess that either Brizz/Verb or Clips/Top were the primary battles that made that event sellout the way it did.

And again, I don't see any PG turning that offer down. Your mid-tier gradual approach makes perfect sense in a vacuum, but we know that a lot of these nikkas battle careers is based on timing and the mercy of almighty URL. I don't think Brizz was fully ready either, but it's not likely he had time to get there.

Re-watching Ill Will/Tay Roc and realizing just how much URL changed after SM2.

This is exactly when Smack got tired of paying vets and started pushing random rookies on us. Ill Will was hot at the time (coming off BET) but once again got outclassed. Tay left earth in the second after Will clearly took the first.

To this day I find that Tay/Will battle to be overhyped. I've posted plenty about my opinion on Tay Roc and his basic bars and screaming at the end of them to get crowd reaction (which I STILL don't fukking understand)... and Will was nothing to talk about here.

To this day I find that Tay/Will battle to be overhyped. I've posted plenty about my opinion on Tay Roc and his basic bars and screaming at the end of them to get crowd reaction (which I STILL don't fukking understand)... and Will was nothing to talk about here.

Tay's 2nd still gets heavy rotation to this day.

This rookie class (especially Brizz and Top) had a different level of fandom going into it. If Brizz stood up there and got completely washed, he might be in the bushes... but he didn't. They threw the nikka in with the sharks and he managed to swim out with some limbs left.

The hype machine after Brizz's many performances got him a shot in the big stage. Of course he's going to take it. You acting like some of these nikkas can control 100% what opportunities comes and when.

This is exactly what bothers me about them. Ill Will's class would 30 these new nikkas minus Top. You got to remember that class had Ill, Lotta, and Danja. They weren't even hyped half as much as Saga, Chess, Prep and Brizz. Smack has branded an entire event for these guys and got them Clips, Verb, etc. in their second year on URL. This is downright unheard of before in battle rap.

This right here. Top and Brizz getting Verb and Clips was a match made for business. Both dudes were buzzing crazy after UFF and the URL took advantage. The last dude who I think actually trolled his way into the top tier was JJDD. Every battler is going to talk shyt but JJ went somewhere else with it. The rest of them, especially this class? Thrown to the wolves. But so far, I respect their effort and think at least two of them will have a career that includes more big stage looks.

KG told these nyggas. After you get through the PG's, deal directly with Beasley or Chico. Stop dealing with Norbes. You want to stop dealing with Norbes immediately. I explained this not too long ago but let's say me & you have a company. If you tell me "nah we shouldn't fukk with ______" am I gonna take it under consideration? Of course it's just the way it is. Stop it.What kind of rapper can't use a mic? A battle rapper.Handheld mics robbed most of the battlers of their delivery and hand gestures. Hitman looked like trash at SM1 and so did hollow. Put it like this, I've never heard URL vow to never do something again ever EXCEPT handheld mics.

SM1 was pretty much a training wheels experiment, a lot of the battlers looked shakey but they could afford too, Verb got washed by clips with a crowd that wanted him to lose, Same with rex, but verb has classic rounds and personality that will keep him around, Brizz does not.

Brizz doesn't have half the talent that verb has because if he did we wouldn't be having this discussion because he might have won a round instead of getting 30'd after saying he was gonna 30 verb.
