Stop it.What kind of rapper can't use a mic? A battle rapper.Handheld mics robbed most of the battlers of their delivery and hand gestures. Hitman looked like trash at SM1 and so did hollow. Put it like this, I've never heard URL vow to never do something again ever EXCEPT handheld mics.

SM1 was pretty much a training wheels experiment, a lot of the battlers looked shakey but they could afford too, Verb got washed by clips with a crowd that wanted him to lose, Same with rex, but verb has classic rounds and personality that will keep him around, Brizz does not.

Brizz doesn't have half the talent that verb has because if he did we wouldn't be having this discussion because he might have won a round instead of getting 30'd after saying he was gonna 30 verb.

shyt like this further proves how full of shyt you are breh :pachaha:

You stay making excuses for the vets when they hit the big stage for the first time, yet bash the shyt out of today's rookies when it's their chance to hit the big stage.

Just be fair and say that a battler doesn't get big stage experience until he GETS ON THE BIG STAGE.

Foh with this shyt like you're a superior intellect. I haven't posted the voting, but I have Verb winning the battle clearly and I (and most others in here) don't need time to see that shyt

This was a face off between Brizz and the vets. I like that they hazing this nikka. Sets a good stage for him if he comes out of this battle successful (where success = making it debatable).

...can't believe I'm this hype for a god damn URL card.

So by your own definition, Brizz was not successful right? :sas2: point I was trying to make.

Oh, and I saw a board full of nikkas who claim to know battle rap that thought Brizz was going to just jump on stage for the first time and give Aye fukking Verb the business because verb only showed up for 8 of 12 rounds he wrote for 4 battles in 2 months then told a bunch of people the vets have us brainwashed into believing they're better.

So how many big stages were there before summer madness 1? How many different tiers were there? :sas1:

How about you just be real and admit you were wrong about Brizz and he got washed. Don't dance around it. Say I WAS WRONG,BRIZZ GOT WASHED BY AYE VERB.

The points you were pushing was that Brizz got exposed and destroyed like previous rookies... The nikkas who went MIA after their battles. You also are driving home that Brizz went about his battle opponents wrong and should have done it the Ghostface way, when I am trying to suggest that he (and other battlers) don't have that level of finite control over who and when they get to battle on stage.

And at the time I made that post, I had no idea how much of a non-serious fan following Brizz had generated. If you asked me today what could be measured as success I'd have said showing up and not choking. I'm as surprised as anyone that I'm both saying the dude got 3-0'd and still did a good thing for his exposure and future battle career.

Brizz didn't make it debatable, but I won't go as far as to say he got washed and this outcome was akin to Ill Will, Prez Mafia. Brizz came out with the clear L, but he didn't come out of this weakened and exposed (imo). Since you're pulling files, I was one of the people saying that the battle can slip away from him because of his reliance on the crowd and the energy.

If you sit around and cherry pick and pull files all day, you basically throw out any chance of an organic discussion that changes as more information comes and as time passes. I won't front and say you don't have great points and shyt in here, but you a little stuck on that "i told you so" shyt. You got your shine when you exposed Spudrick. That was a funny moment and a clear cut L handed over after he flat out denied some shyt he said. Now you cherry pickin, trying to pad that resume.

but i guess the fukkery is half the reason we all come in this bytch every day.:yeshrug:

:myafrican: you see the bias.

Verb got washed by clips with a crowd that wanted him to lose

:mjlol: it was the crowd. Nevermind the fact that Verb was trash that night and took too long to punch. He had to learn to adapt to the big stage and not use long set ups. That's something he didn't know previously because he'd never been on a big stage in front of an impatient crowd that's been on their feet for hours. He didn't know until he experienced it:ohhh:.

If SM1 was a "training wheels experiment" than what was RvV:russ:?

Mook on AFR sounding like he's really eager to battle again. He actually listed realistic guys like Surf, Arsonal, Aye Verb, & some others.

Do you think Mook is bein a smart businessman for not battling and waiting on a fat check or do you think he's just on some diva shyt?

A little of both.

I need to listen to the beginning of the interview that I missed out on to see why he listed those battle rappers. Perhaps he realizes the days of a company like Shady coming in throwing around money is over?
