I'm not asking you to write an essay. I simply asked you to show me some footage of a nikka dumbing down his bars for a big crowd. Prove your point. These guys say a lot of bullsh*t in interviews, yet they still go out there and rap like they've always rapped. You pointed out a bar from Clips that you consider dumbed down. I said na, Clips has always used simple bars like that. "I'm one burning building plus another burning building, that means I'm two/too fire"-That was bar from Clips in his radio battle with Myers... Sound exactly like that 2 killer/killa shyt he spit for the big crowd, right?
You then said its obvious that Magic has dumbed his bars down as well. I posted footage of recent Magic bars that shows him rapping like that same ole B Magic. Other posters here have also agreed that they don't think Magic had dumbed down his bars, he's just isn't spitting that much fire.

These guys aren't dumbing down their bars, they are just going out there with trash material.

Here you go with the Clips shyt again. You still aren't comprehending why I brought Clips up. Either you refuse to or can't, I don't know what it is.

I brought up Clip's bar just as an example of the type of shyt the crowd is trying to hear. That's it. I have no idea how you process that information as me implying that Clips was a lyrical battle rapper that decided to dumb himself down. I never typed that. Now I did say according to Mickey, Clips has way more lyrical ability & chooses not to display it, but again, that's not what he is going for anyway.

I have no desire to convince you. Your the one poster where someone can actually give you the answer & you would still believe what you want to believe. Hell no.

Look at this Clips bullshyt you keep bringing up. I use that bar as an example of simple shyt they like to hear, but yet you can't bringing up Clips was never a lyrical battle rapper as if I said he was. The way you interpret what you read is all fukked up.

Yeah magic always had hit or miss lines since he started. He didn't dumb down anything. When your style is back to back punches, a lot of them are gonna be average. It's almost impossible to come up with 9 minutes worth of A+ punchlines.

You could hit literally every small league, switch up some lines here and there to keep it fresh enough.. smile, then keep it moving to the next city. They don't have the big league clout, but if I'm a promoter, I'm looking at them and thinking damn, they do their own travel. They ARE battle rap. It's just a different game. Guys in New York will wait around forever for the tiers to play fair, and they're never going to. It's going to be the same dudes on top in 3 years, watch. Same old fukks. And URL and KOTD are both still very small anyway. Battle rap itself is a niche genre.

Snoop sees something hot and is trying to jump in and commercialize it. AHAT is the perfect league for that.
