Yeah I gotta believe the ppv turnout would be good, especially if it was solely for the main event and it was like 15 dollars or some shyt. Granted that would probably be a logistical nightmare with the way battles never happen according to a time schedule. I guess they'd have to keep a very well updated twitter/social media presence to say when the ppv is about to go live.

Still would probably be hard to sell a ppv that has a set price yet the start time is "TBA". shyt would just look sketchy.

edit: Even if they did the PPV 24 hours after the battle, with sound processing and shyt done properly, it'd probably do ok.

Nah... It wouldn't even be worth doing PPV for just the main event.

I think Smack said the overheard on the NOME live stream cost them like $30k. And I'm sure it would have cost virtually the same if they streamed one hour or eight hours.

Also, no way in hell I would buy a PPV for the main event only. On demand yes, I would pay for individual battles - I bought Math vs Chilla for instance. But if I'm live streaming I want the whole damn event or it's just a tease

Damn, I didn't think about this. URL's time schedule is a nightmare. They would have to do the main event kind of early on the card to make sure its on time for the people online.

He tried to do something like this when they were negotiating the Hollow battle...given he probably had a high asking price this makes sense

I don't really care regardless all I know is I'm glad I'll get to see Lux-Clips live/the same night
