What would be a good battle for Cortez right now that makes sense? He's damn near battled everyone.

Maybe someone from Jersey. The most realistic being O-Red. Arsonal another one. However, someone has to be willing to pay to make these battles happen.

O-Red is another one. I was gonna ask where is that nygga, but he's about to battle Daylyt on GW. Daylyt has so many battles going on while O-Red just has this battle on his plate.

That was super unprofessional, but hilarious as hell.
All that stuff about Cortez not being respected, and not having any special moves is true imo.

Earlier in the show (I think, maybe it was the prior episode) a guy named Jacob jumped on to defend Cortez, but

1. ATTENDED the K-Shine/Cortez battle and still managed to forget they battled.
2. Suggested that maybe Cortez should battle John John. Not only did Cortez battle and beat John John already, but it was one of Cortez's best performances in recent years.

So in a way, he proved that Cortez does not have enough memorable moments to get big main stage match-ups.

He was more memorable when he looked and rapped like he wanted to fight his opponent. Back then I pointed out how he sounded too FYL influenced (Nems, Datin & them) to not be apart of that crew, but his name carried more respect when he was rapping like that.
Skip to 3:50. The bars weren't as good, but the delivery is much more engaging than how he raps now.

Yeah. My gut feeling is K-Shine is open to almost any opportunity to make bread off of battle rapping, so he will take any match that the fans have interest in. Dude has two strikes, so I'm not mad at him.
Tay Roc v K Shine part 2 would be fire, they don't really need to get personal to put on a good show.

But if it is real, that means we might get K-Shine v T-Rex one day (provided T-Rex can maintain some decent performances)
