Good responses from the legit TBZ posters..
So let me ask this.. Am I the only one who can't even imagine any of the current bubbling dudes (Top, Brizz type) having THAT performance. Like, I have a hard time even imagining those guys putting on undeniable classics on stage. And I like Top, Brizz just fine, but I think there's something missing? Charisma? Command? Is it just their cadence? Or just lack of history?
The wild thing is, when I think objectively (not stan shyt).. the most likely dude I can see having that performance/match/moment that shakes battle rap ...is Chess. Something about his energy and how he pretty much 100% commits makes me think he's the most likely to really blow up. For a while I thought it'd be Brizz, but he seems to have hit a ceiling, or at least entered a zone that doesn't have that "epic" feel.
I think Top has pretty much hit his ceiling...he's shown every time he belongs on a big stage, doin something epic is a far reach for what he does though.
Brizz is still finding his way getting comfortable on a big stage, he's missing three critical components to make him have an "epic" or "room shaking" moment
1. Haymakers - he brought them effortlessly in small rooms, that's what made every vet we can name give him a certified co-sign along with all the other shyt he brings in a battle.
2. Timing - He gotta work on figuring out what lines to give breathing room, and deliver a certain way
3. Removing filler - Brizz say shyt sometimes that don't go anywhere, not shyt the crowd sleep on, but flat out lazy writing. He needs to create material leading up to the punch.
Chess can do everything they do and his unique flow is like stop and go but its clean...to be 16 as long as he holla at the vets behind the scenes and soak.up as much game as he can....he can have those moments at the drop of a dime. Imagine Chess having crowd control like a hitman or stop the room.every time like Verb
